Annapurna Logo  Annapurna Machinenfabrik Private limited is located at Kolhapur in the state of Maharashtra(India) at approx. 450 km. south of Mumbai(Bombay). The original company, Hindustan Engineering industry was established in 1965 by the founder chairman, Mr. D.S. Patil.

Initially the company was into manufacturing worrls diesel engines and components thereof. In 1974 they ventured into manufacturing of Tannery machinery. Today they have a good range of modern Tannery machinery. After a modest start in 1974 for the Tannery machinery division, today the company has come to be one of the leading Tannery machinery manufacturer in India. Annapurna Machinenfabrik Private limited are proud to be associated with the foundation and tremendous success of the Indian Tanneries by supplying their range of machinery to nearly 80% of the existing Tanneries.

The company has been certified as a ISO 9002 company by TUV Suddeutchl and of Germany for its manufacturing plant in Kolhapur. Annapurna Machinenfabrik private limited has exported their range of Tannery machinery to neighbouring Asian countries like Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

What we mainly deal in?

Band Knife splitting machine:

The Band Knife splitting machine is available in three sizes: 1500mm, 1800mm, and 2100mm passage. The machine is used for splitting leather in order to separate uniform thick layer of the grain side. The thickness of the grain layer can be adjusted according to the requirements. The leather is placed on the operating table grainside up and introduced between the upper grooved roller and the lower ring roller. These two rollers conduct the leather towards the endless splitting Band knife, which slices the leather. The rainside of the leather comes out at the back of the machine, here from it is pulled out. The split-off flesh side falls under the rear table of the machine


Krause-Annapurna Splitomat (Splitting Machine): 

The technique of splitting machines has been developed in the past years mainly in two direction :To obtain a higher degree of splitting precision, i.e. a better material economy. The knife guidesa and grinding systems have been improved. In addition, the machines were designed to be more adaptable to structural differences of to be split.
To facilitate handling. Adjustments to be made during splitting can be done without much effort ; precision measuring and indigator instruments facilitate quality inspection.
